I absolutely loved the relaxed and chilled summer marquee wedding with Anna and James near Eye in Suffolk at the end of July. It was a fun, fun day with a great location, wonderful weather and fabulous guests. Anna and James might be described as a little bit alternative and they certainly did things in their own way leading to a uniquely personal celebration of their marriage.
There were some lovely personal touches throughout the day and probably the most original order of service at the church that I have seen in the last ten years of photographing Suffolk weddings!
Anna looked incredible in the palest pink dress and summer floral head dress. She arrived at the pretty little church with her father and four bridesmaids. After a simple but beautiful ceremony (including some stellar singing from her university friends), the couple left in an open topped car and escorted by a fleet of motorcylists….
James’s passion for motorbikes was reflected in the wedding escort from the church, the cake and mentioned several times in the excellent speeches.
The beautiful bride with her natural hand tied bouquet of summer flowers …
You couldn’t ask for a more memorable setting than the view over the Suffolk fields at the back of James’s family home…
