The Barrandov Opera wedding venue in Suffolk ~ and at last ~ a beautiful Spring weekend for Matt and Amanda’s wedding day. This was my first time at this unique Suffolk wedding venue and it was just perfect for an intimate, relaxed wedding reception with a really personal feel to the place. The gardens are spectacular (I imagine at most times of the year) and have been created by the owner, John, over many years. Lots of fabulous photographic opportunities can be found, including rose covered arbours and a lake set against the lovely Suffolk countryside backdrop. For couples looking for a Suffolk country wedding venue for their guests, they should definitely look at the Barrandov Opera wedding venue with its rustic barns and colourful cockerels roaming the gardens!

Amanda wore a stunning dress and veil, with accessories of jewelled shoes and soft pastel flowers. Once at the Barrandov Opera Barn however, the styling had a distinct ‘Star Wars’ theme which had been cleverly planned out by Matt. Little touches included several ‘May the Fourth’ signs and a board with a Star Wars message to the guests. The theme of New York (where Matt had proposed in Central Park) was also featured in the seating plan and table names.
